So,

But on a MUCH better note,
I went to the Salvador Dali Museum. Oh my god... I have never in my life, been as happy I was then...

I was on the brink of tears. To be so close to something as great as that... To be able to see the brushstrokes on that canvas, To see all the little notes he would write to himself it the corners int hat scratchy penmanship.
To get into his mind, his way of thinking.
To see all of his films playing at the same time on all walls around you... It's like drowning in fucking pudding,


I love that man...

On so many different levels

Yea, Dali has some of the most provocative pieces I have ever seen. There was a piece I saw where he drew a woman with her arm up in the air and an old man holding her arm. He had placed his genitalia against her armpit. It shocked me but was so amazingly drawn I didn't know what to do.

It represents his father and his relationship with Dali's wife's {Gala} sister and how it was just a way for his father to opress him agai, Dali also believed that his dad wanted Gala for himself.
